Biografía de R5
R5 es una banda estadounidense de Pop rock y rock alternativo originaria y fundada en Los Ángeles, California en 2009. La banda está compuesta por Ross Lynch (Voz y guitarra), Riker Lynch (Bajo y voz), Rocky Lynch (Guitarra y voz), Rydel Lynch (Teclado y voz) y Ellington Ratliff (Batería y voz)
En marzo de 2010, la banda auto-lanzó su primer extended play, Ready Set Rock. En abril de 2012, la banda anunció a través de su página web de que habían firmado un contrato discográfico con Hollywood Records. El segundo material de la banda, Loud, fue lanzado oficialmente el 19 de febrero de 2013, que contó con el sencillo y el título principal «Loud». El EP fue rápidamente seguido por el álbum debut de la banda, Louder, el cual fue lanzado al mercado el 24 de septiembre de 2013. El álbum incluye las cuatro canciones incluidas en Loud y también siete nuevas canciones.
El 22 de julio de 2014, la banda publicó su más reciente trabajo, un EP titulado Heart Made Up On You, con 4 nuevas canciones: «Heart Made Up On You», «Things Are Looking Up», «Easy Love» y «Stay With Me»
