The Apathy Eulogy naciò en Baltimore, Maryland en 2005.

En ese entonces estaba compuesta por Rob Kelly (guitarra, vocales) y Brian Curlee (cajon). Ellos grabaron su primer demo con 2 temas:, “Be My Rescue” y “Daphne Doesn’t Love Derby, She Hates Men.”

Depues, Ben Brown se uniò a la banda

En el 2006, The Apathy Eulogy grabó su primer album:, Things Hoped For, Things Unseen.

En Agosto del 2006, Ben Brown deja la banda y se unen John Cotter (Vienna), Josh Niles (Avelyn with Rob Kelly), y Mitch Ryan.

En Abril de 2007, The Apathy Eulogy graba su segundo album, Beauty for Ashes.

En Septiembre del 2007, John Cotter deja la banda
