An absolute classic tune and a great story. It was pretty hard to tab this 
because the guitar is quite hard to hear and then you've got Renbourn 
playing lead over the top to make it even more elusive. I'm pretty sure this 
is very close to what he plays, although you could make a lot of changes 
with the fingerings and use of open strings etc. This is the way I play it 
anyway. This tab is the intro and then a typical verse. There are slight 
variations between verses so experiment and do what you can with the tune 
like Bert does. Now all that remains is for you to learn the ten minutes 
worth of fantastic lyrics! :o)
