beat up fifty-three..smokin' like a steamship



with the po-lice after me.

When I passed the business district, just then

I saw..a Cadillac Motor sign sayin', trade your 



run-down car.

Well, I pulled up in the alley tore my clutch right

outta the floor and I was half-way in the dealer's



when the cops flew by the door.

side-road.

That big machine wouldn't make the turn and the cops they 



grabbed a-hold of me.

And the last I seen my Cadillac, it was wrapped around a tree.
