Notes: This transcription is a development of an existing OLGA tab by Dan
Baderman. Looking at his transcription and at the "Tunings" page of the
Leggheads site, I was forced to re-do my original version of this which
was in open D tuning and consequent ly less than fluid. According to the
man himself, this piece is in DADGBD, not DADF#AD as I had it or DADGBE as
Dan had it. My transcription has lifted parts of Dan s wholesale (except
for compensating for the tuning change) and done others slightly dif
ferently. It seems to sound pretty much right but should not be taken as
100% accurate. There is no timing notation - it s all fairly
straightforward and best got from the recording. Hope it is of some use.
If you haven t already done so, you might li ke to try out Dan s
transcription too and come up with your own compromise.
NB: This is an updated version of my original transcription, following
some very useful suggestions from "Acoustic" Bob Salsburg, who pointed out
some errors and has a better ear for detail than me! Thanks to him I
think the phrasing flows better and is
certainly closer to the original. Please feel free to email me your own
corrections/improvements.
