This is probably one of Berts finest guitar arrangements and has eluded me for some time.
He really sounds like he s playing a 12 string but he s not - it s just his genius use of
octaves, open strings and tuning. I m pretty sure it s in DADGAD. I ve attempted to learn
this tune many times and have given up, it s just so hard to hear what he s playing with
all the open strings and octaves, but tonight, armed with a bottle of wine, I think I ve
had a good crack at it. This tune is not for the faint hearted, I think it s one of his
most technical so watch out for the fingerings in some places. Bear in mind that it is
very possible with a little practice. Work closely with the record for the structure and
feel. You may find better fingerings than I have here and by all means contact me with
any improvements/mistakes etc. I have never seen a transcription of this tune, so I may
well have a first here! Have fun!
