Boudewijn de Groot has been popular in The Netherlands since the 1960 s, and he s
still going strong. He scored many hits and a big number one with: Land van Maas en Waal .
The strenghts of his songs are also due very much because of their great lyrics,
most of them written by his famous song writing partner: Leneart Nijgh,
who died on November the 28th 2002.
