Notes:
The Dm chord in the intro/chorus is only strummed for one beat, then immedately
you play the Dsus4 chord.
The G in the intro/chorus is stummed for two beats, then G7 for one, then you
play riff directly into the Dm and the Dsus4.
All that together is the intro/chorus.

The riff is followed immediately by a Dm. You don t have to play the riff
at all if you don t want, you can just strum another G7 chord, but it will
sound more like David s piano if you at least play the riff a few times.
Plus your index finger is already on the F if from fretting the G7, and if
you fret the D with your ring finger, the riff sets your fingers up for the Dm.
I tried to space the position of the chords to go with the lyrics. Play along
with the song, you should be able to hear the changes.
