Play along with the video to get the strumming down.
He does a lot of hammering throughout, especially on the
D chord (hammer the high  e  string) and some picking here and
there. It s not hard to find the strumming pattern even if you
don t do the hammers and picking ;)

 [02023x]- This is how I play it (it s easier- for me 
              anyways)and it sounds good, BUT just strum 
              those low strings EADG for it to sound best.
