I ve never much cared for this 1962 weeper from Mike Clifford, but I m
including it at AAA anyway for historical reasons: the chord progression -
specifially the chromatically descending bass line over minor-6ths and
half-diminisheds - is an uncanny foreshadowing of the Beach Boys God Only
Knows from four years later.
