Turn the clock back, start anew,
                            
Paint a whitewash on the past.
                      
Take a step back, change the view,
                          
Tie your colours to the mast.

But it s taken far to long for me to see
                                  
For I couldn t tell the forest from the trees

Comprehension came too late
                    
Dream of pleasures that are lost
                         
Hesitation, count the cost
                    
Add them all to bear this cross

Seems to take so very long
