They’ll come out their doors to meet us, when we drive down the street in Lancaster

When I drove in on Queen Street, I couldn’t find the place we used to eat
                                  
And every telephone said you’re not home
                                           
And every locked door that you don’t live here anymore

                                                             
Some went off to college, some packed up the car to see the other coast
                                       
And all our favorite bands gave up the ghost
                                    
scattered with the friends we loved the most
