Durante un corto periodo de tiempo en 1964, la banda británica The Who cambiaron su nombre por The High Numbers, ideado por el mod Pete Meaden, por aquel entonces manager de la banda. Llegaron a editar algunos sencillos como Zoot Suit, Leaving Here o I'm the face.
