Dan Wilson

Daniel Dodd "Dan" Wilson (nacido el 20 de mayo, 1961 en Minneapolis, Minnesota) es un multi-instrumentalista, vocalista, compositor y productor. Eel es también el vocalista principal de la banda Semisonic, para ellos el escribio los hits "Closing Time," "Secret Smile," and "Chemistry." Free Life es su primer proyecto como solista.

El criticamente aclamado primer album en solitario de Wilson "Free Life" fué lanzado en Octubre de 2007. El mismo produjo el album, junto al renombrado guru de la música Rick Rubin sirviendo también de productor ejecutivo, Rubin escribio, “La música de Dan toco mi alma.
