Biografía de The Beautiful South

Este grupo británico formado a finales de los 80, estuvo formado por los componentes de The Housemartins, Paul Heaton y Dave Hemingway - como vocalistas despues de la desintegración de este.

Marcó una linea de continuación del pop británico que por aquella época The Housemartins habían iniciado, pero esta vez experimentando mucho mas, y aunque no llegaron a tener el mismo éxito comercial que Housemartins en España, en Inglaterra cosecharon numerosos éxitos y son todavía un grupo de culto que ha llegado a vender mas de 15 millones de discos en todo el mundo.

Contaron con hasta 3 vocalistas femeninas y se separaron en el 2007.
